Cloud Mountain Energy is betting big on "Full-Tab" tech. By using the entire top of the battery as a terminal, their 46-series cylindrical cells slash internal resistance and heat. Think of them as "sprinters"—built for explosive power and extreme charging speeds. Unlike standard batteries that struggle with heat during fast charging, these cells stay cool, safe, and durable even under heavy stress.
The real magic is happening on the factory floor in Ningbo. Cloud Mountain has launched China’s first magnetic levitation production line for these batteries, popping out a fresh cell every 0.8 to 0.9 seconds. With a daily output of 75,000 units and a roadmap to hit 300 cells per minute by 2028, the company is proving that "Supercharge" isn't just a buzzword—it’s a mass-producible reality.
Where will these batteries go? Everywhere that needs speed. We’re talking about EVs that juice up in less than 10 minutes, instant battery-swapping for scooters, and even the high-drain demands of eVTOL (flying taxis). By mastering the 1.5GWh scale-up, Cloud Mountain is positioning itself as the go-to supplier for the next generation of high-power mobility.
Investors are taking note. With nearly 100 million RMB in fresh capital from big names like Shunwei Capital, this 2023 startup is already a cornerstone of Ningbo’s New Energy ecosystem. Their ability to turn advanced chemistry into a high-speed manufacturing machine is setting a new benchmark for China’s power battery industry.
