BPS Unveils BP83323: Single-Stage PFC Controller with Integrated SiC for 150W Power Designs

BPS is redefining high-power adapter architecture with the launch of the BP83323. By replacing the traditional two-stage design with a single-stage APFC + Flyback topology, this controller slashes component count and system volume without sacrificing performance, marking a significant shift for the fast-charging and industrial sectors.

The standout feature is the integrated 800V Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFET. SiC's superior thermal stability and the chip's 18V gate drive minimize conduction loss significantly. This "All-in-One" approach eliminates bulky PFC stages and uses PSR (Primary-Side Regulation) to cut down on external parts, making it an ideal choice for high-density PCB layouts.
